2010 HINO 358 CLASS 7 (35,000 LBS GVW)

The Hino 358 has been optimized for heavy-duty service. The 23,000 lb. rear axle, optional 120,000 psi heavy duty frame and driver-controlled locking rear differential makes the Hino 358 ideal for delivering heavy loads where maximum frame strength and traction are required. The standard full air braking system provides reliable and effective braking when you need it most. Recommended applications for the Hino 358 include: building materials delivery, tanker, dump, and refrigerated bodies. The 358 is powered by Hino's most powerful 260 hp 6-cylinder, turbocharged, diesel engine and is available with either a standard Eaton FS6406A manual transmission or a heavy-duty Allison 3000RDS 6-speed automatic transmission with PTO capability. The 358 is also available with optional rear air suspension.

With available wheelbases from 187" to 271", it allows you to fully customize the 358 to suit your individual needs. The heavy duty 358 is all you've come to expect from a Hino: superb manoeuvrability, excellent visibility and a long list of standard features to ensure driver comfort.

Hino is a leader in environmentally friendly diesel engines. Using ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel, Hino's Diesel Particulate Reduction (DPR) system collects and periodically re-burns the soot that derives from diesel fuel combustion. This leading edge technology reduces soot exhaust by an amazing 90%! The Hino DPR technology has been proven effective and reliable here and in Japan.
